Football teams

The free team app for grassroots football

GrassPytch is a free app for running a junior football team: a team website, fixtures, parent availability and a fair game-time rotation planner that understands every FA format from 5-a-side to 11-a-side. Built by a grassroots coach, free for coaches and families.

Every FA youth format, built in

5-a-sideU7 to U8

FA Mini-Soccer: small pitch, no offside, everyone plays.

7-a-sideU9 to U10

The step up: bigger pitch, more positions to rotate fairly.

9-a-sideU11 to U12

The bridge to the full game.

11-a-sideU13 and up

The full game, with fair rotation across a bigger squad.

Pick your format and the pitch, positions and rotation planner all adapt. Goalkeeper minutes are tracked separately, so nobody is stuck in goal all season.

Built for football, not adapted to it

Fair game time, planned not promised

Tap once for a rotation where every child plays their share, including a fair share in goal. Fine-tune it by hand whenever you like.

FA-aware publishing

Youth scores and player statistics are never public for U7 to U11, in line with FA guidance. Celebration without league tables.

The whole week, connected

The fixture, who's coming, the line-up, training and the post-match stickers all hang off one place, so nothing gets re-typed.

Try it yourself

One football matchday, start to finish

Flag who's away, tap for a fair line-up and see it all connect. This is the real thing, no sign-up.

Step 1 · The fixture

It starts with the game

Sat 5 Sep · 10:30 · Home · League

Add the game once. Everything else, the availability, the line-up, the training, hangs off it, so you never re-enter the same thing twice.

The fixture, the training, who's available, a fair line-up and the reward, one connected place. Set it up once, and the week runs itself.

Safeguarding first: no child accounts, no in-app messaging, no ads, and youth scores and player statistics are never public, in line with FA guidance. Read our full approach →

Football questions, answered

Which football formats does it support?

All FA youth formats: 5-a-side (U7 to U8), 7-a-side (U9 to U10), 9-a-side (U11 to U12) and 11-a-side (U13 and up). The pitch, positions and fair rotation planner adapt to the format you pick.

Does it publish scores or league tables?

Not for young age groups. Scores and results stay off public pages for U7 to U11, and per-player statistics are never public for any youth team, in line with FA guidance.

Is it really free for a football team?

Yes. The complete core experience is free for coaches and families with no card needed: the team website, fixtures, availability, rotation planner, training tools and rewards.

Give your football team its proper home.

Set up in minutes by one volunteer. Free for every coach, parent and child.
