I coach a U7 team and I'm super busy, but we really wanted fair game time and the players' experience at the heart of what we did. So we built GrassPytch for ourselves as coaches, then decided to make it available to everyone else for free, because grassroots sport needs support without further costs.
It took minutes to arrange training as a team, rather than lots of calls and a plan we caught up with on the day.

Is it really free?
Yes. The complete core team experience is free for coaches and families, with no card needed: the website, fixtures, rotation, training and reports, for every team. Two optional paid extras help support GrassPytch, and neither is ever required: GrassPytch Plus, a low-cost subscription that adds Pytch, your AI teammate, and season keepsakes for families who want a lasting copy.
How long does it take to set up?
Minutes. One volunteer adds the team once, and the website, fixtures and calendar build themselves from there. If you can send a message, you can run your team on GrassPytch.
Which sports does it support?
Football, rugby, hockey and netball today, with more grassroots team sports on the way. Everything adapts to your sport's formats and age groups, U6 to U18.
Is our children's data safe?
Safeguarding is built in, not bolted on: no in-app messaging, no date of birth or medical data collected, no ads, and youth scores and stats are never public. Read our full safeguarding approach →
What does it cost parents?
Nothing. Parents get their own free area with their child's stickers and season. An optional season keepsake is the only thing a parent might ever choose to buy, and only if they'd like a lasting copy.
Can we use our own domain?
Yes. Every team gets a free grasspytch.app address, or you can bring your own domain. The core team app is free either way.
How do we get started?
Tap Create your team, then add your team name, sport and web address. From there you can add players, put up your first fixture and invite the parents.
